Im not interiorly convinced it is part of romanticism due to it being too concentrated on the single person on a contrasting beautiful white horse and the manner in which the characters are placed makes it represent a glorious attack. Romanticism focuses more on the people behind the sense that make things happen and all the true horror of war is shown unlike in this depiction.
